Eton DC Rectifiers

The Eaton® Energy Saver family of Rectifiers are designed for telecommunications network operators striving to cut energy costs and/or to meet aggressive carbon footprint reduction targets across the network.

• Energy saving efficiency of over 96% saves at least 50% waste energy in the DC conversion process versus other comparably sized rectifiers in today’s market (at nominal 240Vac input).
• Reduced heat dissipation that is associated with the high energy-saving rectifier efficiency, can potentially save further OPEX through the reduced heat management requirements.
• Peak energy efficiency is ensured with both a high efficiency curve over a wide load range of typical operating conditions as well as with Eaton’s “Load Based Rectifier Shutdown” (LBRS) which switches rectifiers off and on to maintain individual rectifier loads in the optimal range.
